You may know Georg Jensen as a name famous in silverware design. However, what is the significance of a Georg Jensen brooch? A brooch is a decorative jewelry item that is intended to be attached to clothing and apparel. It is traditionally made out of metal, silver or gold, though bronze and other rich materials have been used. Luxurious brooches may also feature gemstones or enamel for additional decor.
